Leanne & Daniel

Leanne and Daniel met on her 20th birthday when one of her roommates invited him and his friends to their quad in Fenn Tower.

Growing closer over time, they learned of their similar backgrounds.

Leanne knew Daniel was “the one” when he talked about how much his family meant to him.

“He was a keeper,” she said.

Daniel was attracted to Leanne’s warmth.

They married in January 2018 with a destination wedding in Las Vegas.

“Our wedding colors were emerald green and grey in honor of CSU being the place we met and fell in love,” Leanne said. “We even had a Viking for life button that was placed on our cake.”

Today, Daniel works as an civil engineer at a downtown Cleveland firm. He’s also a First Lieutenant in the National Guard and an assistant wrestling coach at St. Ignatius High School.

Leanne works as an academic advisor at Kent State University’s Geauga campus.

They live on the east side with their cat Loki, Leanne’s self-proclaimed “fur baby.”
